I don’t even know where to begin. My mom is, was amazing. She was a wife for over 45 years. She was a mom to 5 kids, Andrea (my sister), Jacqueline (me), Aaron (my brother), Joshua (my brother) and Jonathan (my brother). She was a “grandmother” to Nathan, Bethany, Grace, Bradley, Hudson, Eve, Matthew, Jade and Oliver. Today, she was taken home to Jesus. She was involved in a tragic vehicle accident on the border or Utah and Colorado. My mom was a force to be reckoned with. She was fierce and humble and compassionate. She touched so many lives, she cared and comforted so many people. My mom was the backbone of our family and was the glue that held us all together. Our family grieves for her voice, her warm hugs and contagious laughter. As with most mom’s, she carried the world on her shoulders. Now, is the time for us to carry her as we lay her to rest. No amount is too small to help my dad as he grieves the love of his life, as my siblings and I grieve our mom, as my kids and nieces and nephews grieve their grandmother. This money will help my dad as we plan the hardest thing he has ever had to do.
