Dear family, friends, and all who have gotten to know Gilbert Kaat, from Cedar Point.
It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating loss of Gilbert’s son, who passed away at just 30 years old. He was a kind soul with a deep passion for video games, a world where he found joy, creativity, and connection. His passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who loved him, especially his father, Gilbert.
As Gilbert navigates this heartbreaking time, we want to come together as a community to support him. The unexpected costs of funeral arrangements and other expenses are overwhelming, and we hope to ease some of the financial burdens so he can focus on grieving and honoring his son’s memory.
Gilbert has always been someone who finds happiness in life’s thrills—like his love for Cedar Point—but right now, his world has been shaken. Let’s rally around him and show him he’s not alone.
