Hello, my name is Misty, and I am the sister -in-law of Big Wes Smith, a beloved friend, father, uncle, son, and friend. On March 28th, Big Wes was involved in a motorcycle accident that claimed his life, leaving behind him a multitude of friends and family, all of which have been touched by wes in some way.
Wes was an avid motorcycle rider his whole life, spending most of his days with his hair in the wind. Over the years, he’s met many fellow riders and made friends with thousands of people from all over the world. He also made many friends during his work in the coal mines, being cawoods “mountain man” and never met a stranger.
From bike rallies to fundraisers, and even toy drives on the holidays, Big Wes was always the first one to reach out to help, offer assistance and just be there for the people he loved so much.
Whike asking for donations is not something the family had planned to do, the amount of people wanting to give back to the man that gave so much of himself is unbelievable and we thought this would be the easiest way for those wishing to do that to be able to do so. I will leave this fund me open for anyone who would like to help support aiden, finalize funeral costs, etc… to help the family at this difficult time. If you would like to donate in private or locally, you may take your donations to Anderson laws funeral home and donate to Wes Smith services.
